2. How to recognise our charge

Card charges from us appear as E5ELEMENTS, sometimes followed by a reference number. If you see something you do not recognise, email billing@e5elements.com with the date and amount and we will identify it the same working day wherever we can. Please do that before filing a chargeback — see the refund policy.

3. What we charge

Current published prices, in US dollars, excluding tax
ItemPrice BillingRenews?
FreeUS$0.00No payment method requiredN/A
Pro MonthlyUS$6.99 Every monthYes, until you cancel
Pro AnnualUS$49.99 Every 12 monthsYes, until you cancel
Annual Seasonal ReportUS$9.99 OnceNo

The pricing page is authoritative for current prices. The exact amount including any tax is always shown at checkout before you confirm.

4. Currency and conversion

We bill in United States dollars only. If your card is denominated in another currency, your issuer performs the conversion at its own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee. We do not set, receive or benefit from either. This also means a refund converted back may not land at exactly the figure you first saw in your local currency, even though we refund the full US dollar amount.

5. Automatic renewal, stated plainly

Pro subscriptions renew automatically and your card is charged again each period until you cancel. Pro Monthly renews every month on the calendar day you subscribed. Pro Annual renews every 12 months on the same date. There is no fixed commitment term and no cancellation fee.

  • Where a monthly renewal date does not exist in a given month — the 31st, for example — we bill on the last day of that month.
  • We email annual subscribers at least 7 days before each renewal with the date and amount, so a yearly charge never arrives unannounced.
  • Your renewal date and plan are always visible in Settings → Subscription.
  • We do not use pre-ticked boxes, trials that silently convert, or a cancellation flow designed to wear you down.

6. No free trial, by design

We do not run a free trial that turns into a charge. The Free plan is permanently free and requires no card, which we think is a more honest way to let you evaluate the product. If we ever introduce a trial we will state the end date, the price after it and the cancellation route before you start it.

7. Taxes

Published prices exclude tax. Where we are required to collect sales tax, value added tax or goods and services tax based on your billing location, it is calculated at checkout and shown as a separate line before you confirm. You are responsible for giving us an accurate billing country; if you give us the wrong one to avoid tax, we may correct the charge. Business customers who need a VAT or GST registration number on an invoice should email billing@e5elements.com.

8. Receipts and invoices

A receipt is emailed automatically for every successful charge, and past receipts are available in Settings → Subscription → Billing history. If you need an invoice showing a company name, address or tax number, ask us and we will issue one.

9. Failed payments

If a renewal payment is declined we email you and retry a limited number of times over roughly two weeks. During that period Pro access continues, so a temporary bank problem does not lock you out. If every retry fails, the subscription lapses to the Free plan. Your journal data is not deleted, and resubscribing restores Pro access to it. We do not add late fees, and we do not send unpaid consumer balances to collections.

10. Updating your payment method

Update your card in Settings → Subscription → Payment method. We recommend doing this before a renewal date if your card is close to expiry. Card details are entered directly into our payment provider's form; ZHCLOUD LLC never receives your full card number or security code.

11. Price changes

We may change prices. If a change affects your renewal, we give you at least 30 days' notice by email stating the old price, the new price and the date it applies, and you can cancel before it takes effect. We do not raise the price of a period you have already paid for.

12. Cancelling and refunds

Cancel at any time in two clicks from Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Access runs to the end of the paid period. Full refund terms, including the 14-day refund on first purchases and renewals, are in the refund and cancellation policy.

13. Payment processing and fraud prevention

Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe receives the card and billing information necessary to authorise the payment and to screen it for fraud; we receive a token, the last four digits, the card brand and the outcome. Entitlements are granted only after a signed, verified confirmation from the payment provider, so a forged callback cannot unlock a paid plan. We may decline or reverse a transaction that our provider flags as high risk, and we will tell you if we do.

14. Business and multi-user use

Plans are sold for personal use by one individual. We do not currently offer team, enterprise or reseller billing, and accounts may not be shared. If you need something along those lines, write to billing@e5elements.com and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
