Billing terms in plain language
These are the terms that apply before you are charged anything. The complete versions are on the subscription and billing and refund and cancellation pages.

| Renewal | Pro Monthly renews every month on the calendar day you subscribed. Pro Annual renews every 12 months on the same date. Renewal continues at the same price until you cancel. |
| Renewal reminder | We email annual subscribers at least 7 days before each renewal, stating the date and the amount. |
| Free trial | None. The Free plan is permanently free and needs no card, so there is no trial that converts into a charge you did not expect. |
| Refunds | Full refund on request within 14 days of a first purchase or of any renewal charge. See the refund policy. |
| Cancellation | At any time from Settings, in two clicks, with no email required. Access continues to the end of the period you already paid for. |
| Price changes | We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a renewal price changes, and you can cancel before it takes effect. |
| Taxes | Prices are shown excluding tax. Where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT or GST, it is calculated at checkout from your billing country and shown before you confirm. |

What the Free plan is for
The Free plan exists so you can decide whether this method is worth paying for before you pay for it. It is not a countdown, a crippled demo or a trial that silently becomes a subscription. It has no card requirement and no expiry date, and it keeps data export and account deletion.
Why the annual plan is cheaper
Pro Annual costs US$49.99 against US$6.99 per month, an effective US$4.17 per month. Saves US$33.89 against twelve monthly payments. The discount reflects lower payment processing and support overhead across a year, and the annual plan includes the current-year Annual Seasonal Report that otherwise costs US$9.99.
The one-time report is genuinely one-time
The Annual Seasonal Report is a single purchase for one year and one profile. It does not create a subscription, it does not renew, and buying it does not enrol you in anything. If you later subscribe to Pro Annual, the current-year report is already included and you should not buy it separately — email billing@e5elements.com if you have bought both and we will refund the duplicate.
